Life Events
It is one of the great privileges of the Church to accompany, support, and bless people at some of the most intimate moments of their lives, both those of great celebration and deep sadness and loss.
Baptism
Here at St James we love to celebrate new life. Whether you want to get your child baptised or you would like to be baptised yourself it’s an occassion worth celebrating.
If you don’t want your child baptised but would like to give thanks for them, we can arrange a Thanksgiving service and ask for Gods blessing for them.
Join us on a Sunday morning to get to know us and decide if either are right for you.
Click here for a bit more information on both Thanksgiving and Baptism. Do get in touch if you want to talk it through further.
Weddings
St James is a beautiful place to get married and we would love to support you through this significant moment in your life.
You don’t have to be baptised or attend reguarly to get married at St James but it does involve the vital aspect of seeking God’s blessing on your big day and on future together.
Please read this to give you more information about the process.
We look forward to planning your big day with you!
Funerals
Loosing a loved one is the hardest thing we will go through in our lives. We understand how difficult this can be and are able to walk you through difficult decisions and emotions that you face.
Please get in touch to discuss arranging a funeral or the internment of ashes.
